This is a job-share position.
Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per Department of Education Guidelines.
Other desirable qualifications include: First Aid, Lámh, and manual handling training. Pleaseinclude in your application the dates that courses were completed.
It would also be desirable for candidates to have experience of working with pupils with Autism, EBD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Trauma and Multiple Disabilities and have worked with pupils who require intimate care including use of hoist.
It would also be an advantage for candidates to have a strong work ethic, be open to further training and be able to demonstrate their skills in working as part of a team.
Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, current Garda vetting requirements, satisfactory pre-employment medical screening via the OHS and Patron approval.
Candidates must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic, be flexible and
demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
