There are 6 vacant posts involved in this selection process with varying initial duties:
There are 3 Full Year Fixed Term positions with initial duties in Mainstream, our Early Intervention Class and on Thurles Supply Panel which is based in our school.
There are 3 Specified Purpose Contracts covering maternity leaves until 26th June 2026, 6th March 2026 and 19th December 2025.
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within 6 months from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Presentation Primary School Thurles is the base school for Thurles Supply Panel. See Circular 0059/2019 for details of the scheme.
Successful candidates will be required to travel to some or all of 25 local schools linked to this Supply Panel
Applications must be accompanied by the contact details of a minimum of three professional referees
Appointment will be subject to :

Teaching Council Registration
Vetting Requirements as per DES Circular 0031/2016
Occupational Health Screening
Candidates must provide evidence of their qualification to teach religion.
Candidates seeking the Supply Panel positions must have a driver's licence and/or independent travel arrangements to fulfill the role.
