We require a bus escort to accompany 1 student with Autism on a bus and another student with a physical disability on a bus.
The positions will require availability to work 5 days per week for 2 hrs minimum per day.
The escort should be available between 8 - 9:00am in the mornings and between 3.30 - 4.30 each evening.
The hourly rate of pay is €15.50 per hour, in line with the Department of Education and Skills guidelines for school bus escorts
Good communication skills are essential and experience of caring for/working with children with additional needs is desirable. The successful candidate will be:
Responsible for assisting pupils in and out of the bus and to ensure pupils' safety when travelling.
The chosen candidates must:
Observe confidentiality in all aspects of work.
Complete relevant training as required to best support the student.
Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting requirements, occupational health check and verification of references. Please include one work reference and one character reference and their contact details with your application.
