The escort is responsible for the safety of the pupils on board the bus and will be required to assist them getting on and off the bus and securing appropriate seatbelts.
Experience working with children with complex needs is desirable. Candidates will be expected to deal with parents and school staff in a professional way, they will need to communicate regarding pick ups/drop offs, illnesses etc
Appointment is subject to garda vetting and appropriate character references.
Salary is €13.40 per hour processed fortnightly and only during term time.
This is a term-time only position. Approx 2 hours each way - 4 hours per day.
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Days: Monday to Friday - 4 hours per day
Route: Limerick City to Martinstown
Bus Escort will require own transport to meet bus in Limerick City
