This is a fixed-term Job Share position (0.5) with a current SNA staff member.
Monreagh National School is a rural 3-teacher school in Carrigans Co. Donegal.
It would be desirable that the successful canditate would have completed an appropriate SNA Course and have the necessary skills and competencies to work with children aged 4-12 who have a variety of challenging needs.
Applicants must demonstrate:
1. An understanding of the role of an SNA and how to address specific care needs of a pupil(s).
2. Show an enthusiastic and flexible attitude and be able to work well within a team.
3. Be able to use their own initiative.
4. Have experience of working with pupils with a variety of special educational needs in a mainstream setting.
Additional qualifications or courses e.g. First Aid & Manual handling are advantageous.
Appointments are subject to vetting and occupational health screening.
