Additional Information:
Scoil Thomáis is seeking to recruit a School Transport Bus Escort.
The successful candidate will be required to meet the bus/taxi at an agreed location and travel between school and the Dublin 15 area twice a day, in accordance with school hours and the school calendar.
The school day for the pupils is 9am to 1.40pm. Approximately 2.5 hours work is required daily, split between the morning and afternoon runs.
The escort is responsible for the safety of the pupils on board and will be required to assist them getting in and out of the transport and securing seatbelts.
The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills. He/she will be expected to communicate with parents and school staff regarding pick ups/drop offs, illnesses, traffic, delays etc.
Appointment is subject to garda vetting and appropriate character references.
Salary is €15.20 per hour processed monthly during school term time. Bus Escorts are not paid over school holidays but receive holiday pay instead.
