St Augustine's School is one of the 5 Youth Encounter Projects in the country, under the direction of the High Support Special Schools(Social Inclusion Unit of the Department of Education and Skills).
The school is under the patronage of the Diocese of Limerick and aims, in partnership with parents, to foster the intellectual, emotional and social development of our students in an atmosphere which is mutually educational and respectful.
This post is for a full time SNA position.
Experience of working in a similar setting is an advantage. The successful candidate should show willingness to work as part of a team and participate in school activities. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
Experience of working with challenging behaviour will be an advantage.
