The escort will accompany pupils on taxi/bus transport from their home to and from school. The escort must be available in the mornings (6.30-8.30am) and afternoons (1.15-3.15pm), five days per week for the school year. The escort is responsible for the safety of the children on board the bus/taxi and will be required to provide pupil care needs including, but not limited to, assisting the children getting on and off the bus/taxi, securing appropriate seat belts, etc. Good communication skills and experience of caring for/working with children with additional needs is desirable.
Please include details of any Continuous Professional Development such as First Aid/Manual Handling etc.
All appointments will be subject to Garda Vetting certification and TUSLA Children First.
