An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applications are invited for 0.83 permanent special needs assistant post (i.e.) for an Infant Day. The post is mainstream classroom based, supporting children with a range of needs. Children that each SNA is allocated to support are subject to change. Duties may change according to the care needs of pupils.

Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, compliance with current Garda vetting requirements and Patron approval.

The successful candidate must work well as part of a team, be flexible, hardworking and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.

Applications will only be accepted by post and must be received no later than 5pm on Wednesday, 4th September 2024. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by email if called to interview. Only candidates shortlisted for interview will be contacted.
