Duties and responsibilities of School Transport escort Observe confidentiality in all aspects of work.
Assisting the student to board and alight from taxi safely and ensuring that the student is received by the responsible adult at each drop off point.
Supervision of student travelling in taxi. Ensuring the student is seated and wearing a safety belt and/or any appropriate harnesses for the duration of the journey.
Maintain a good working relationship with the driver of the taxi. Act as liaison between Principal when required
The successful candidate will be required to work prior to school start times to pick children up from their home in a taxi and after school ends to drop children home.
Pay: €13.40 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday as per the school calendar.
Pickup area for student/s – Ardagh This post is subject to garda vetting.
