Nano Nagle School provides education for pupils aged 4 - 18 years with Moderate,
Severe/Profound learning disability and Autism. Duties to include teaching pupils with special
educational needs which may initially be a class for pupils with multiple disabilities or a class of
pupils on the autistic spectrum or a class for pupils with severe/profound disabilities. Some pupils
present with behaviours that are challenging and adequate and relevant experience of dealing
with such behaviours is desirable. It should, however, be noted that teaching duties are subject to
change during the course of the appointee's employment. The appointments will be subject to
current vetting requirements.

The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 12th July 2024 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Kerry. The closing date for receipt expression of interest was 19th July.
The closing date for submission of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on this website to the 31st July 2024.
The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.
Appointment to this position will be subject, but not limited to successful, OHS, Garda Vetting, current and continuing Teaching Council Registration, satisfactory references and proof of qualifications.
