The Board of Management of The King’s Hospital School welcomes applications for the post of Special Needs Assistant. This is a one-year fixed-term fixed-purpose Career Break cover.
Candidates must be qualified as per Department of Education guidelines for SNAs. Experience to include but is not limited to, care needs, Moderate General Learning Disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and behavioural challenges.
A minimum of one year’s experience of working as an SNA in a secondary school setting is essential.
The post will be filled in accordance with DES guidelines, relevant Circular letters, Medical Fitness and Vetting Disclosure from National Vetting Bureau. Shortlisting may apply and only those shortlisted will be contacted by email.
Interviews will take place on 14-16 August. The successful candidate should be available to commence induction on Monday 19th August.
