Little Angels Special National School caters for students with a moderate or severe to profound intellectual disability aged 4-18 years. In addition, many students have additional needs such as an assessed syndrome, autism, physical disability and complex medical needs.
Experience working with children with ASD in a special school setting will be a distinct advantage. The successful applicant should demonstrate experience and competency in the use of augmentative communication and assistive technologies for pupils with ASD, demonstrate the ability to work within a team, have experience working from behavioural support plans and managing challenging behaviour.
We are recruiting for 2 fixed term SNA positions, one full time and one 0.5 to cover a job share position and one specific purpose contracts to cover a maternity leave position.
