We welcome applications from SNAs who are excited to work with children with additional needs in our newly-established Autism Class.
The successful candidates will be required to work with children
A). who require support across a range of learning, sensory difficulties and/or intimate care toileting needs.
B). with Autism and complex needs
C). who are pre-verbal
D). who may display challenging behaviour.
The successful candidates are expected to carry out the duties as per Circular 0030/2014 and relevant updated notices and/or circulars.
Candidates must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic, be adaptable and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
The successful candidates will be expected to respect the confidentiality of all of the students at all times and to respect and uphold the school’s Catholic ethos.
Appointment is subject to vetting requirements, Occupational Health screening, TUSLA Child Safeguarding Training and Patron approval.
