Féadfar painéal inmheánach d’iarratasóirí oiriúnacha a bhunú chun folúntais a líonadh a d’fhéadfadh teacht chun cinn laistigh de thréimhse ama ar leith ón dáta a fhaomhfaidh an Bord an t-iarrthóir rathúil (ceithre mhí i gcás poist mhúinteora agus fad na scoilbhliana do phoist CRS).

This is a standard SNA position.

However, a panel will be created to fill 1.5 SNA positions which are also available on a fixed term contract for the year 24/25.

The successful candidate may be deployed in either the mainstream school or the ASD class. This is at the Principal's discretion and is changeable throughout the year.

The successful applicant would preferably have experience of working with children with EBD, ADHD, ASD, speech & language, medical & physical needs.

Candidates must be able to work on his/her own initiative and display a strong work ethic. In addition, the successful candidate would have a flexible approach and demonstrate willingness to work as part of a team and be interested in availing of further training. Experience of working in a DEIS school setting and an ASD class is desirable. Successful candidates will be expected to respect confidentiality at all times.

Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills Circular 0051/2019.

Appointment is subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and completion of Children First online training.
