An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Scoil Chríost Rí invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for the position of part-time Special Needs Assistant. This is a part-time post to facilitate a job share arrangement for September 2024/2025. The possible layout of the week could be;
Week 1 = 3 days,
Week 2 = 2 days.
We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on their own initiative.
Candidates must be willing to undertake courses which relate to the needs of the children and the school. Experience and or training in working with children with A.S.D, emotional and
behavioural difficulties and medical care needs is desirable.
Please outline in your letter of application how your skills/experience meet the requirements of the job description.
Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening.

The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.
