Position available: School Transport Bus Escort
Previous experience not essential but a knowledge of special needs and working with children in any capacity would be an advantage.
Fixed-Term Contract available from 28.08.2024 to 20.26.2025 (school term time only)
Approx 15 hours per week - subject to approval
The bus escort is required for a pupil/pupils with an ASD diagnosis.
Bus Route - Granlahan N.S. - Ballaghadereen - Granlahan N.S. (subject to approval and may be changed)
It may be possible for the bus to collect you en-route to collect the child/children or meet you somewhere convenient. This can be discussed at interview stage when bus routes are finalised.
Responsibilities: Accompany/supervise a pupil/pupils with ASD diagnoses on their bus journey to and from school.
Hours of work: Morning: Approx. 8.00 - 9.30
Afternoons: Approx. 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Rate of pay: €13.40 per hour
