An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The post is a classroom teaching post initially and is subject to change at the determination of the Principal.
Tankerstown N.S. is seeking to appoint a team player with initiative who is willing to contribute to the overall development of T.N.S.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
• Probation
• Experience of teaching in a similar-sized multigrade co-educational school
• A demonstration of commitment to Gaeilge CPD
Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
Experience in developing IT experiences for pupils
Teaching children with a range of additional needs
• Interests/skills/experience in music
• Ard-caighdeán i nGaeilge
Three copies of the application form should be submitted by post. Applications close at 12pm on the final date of the advertisement.
Applications should be clearly marked 'Application for Fixed-Term Teaching Post' on the outside of the envelope.
Non-compliance with terms of the advertisement will automatically disqualify candidates.
