Scoil JFK invites applications for two fixed-term teaching positions. The successful candidate may be assigned to a mainstream class or special education teaching position - the final decision on assignment will be determined in line with school needs and priorities. Initial Duties may be subject to change as required by the School. Scoil JFK has a Primary Support Team (PST) to facilitate the Droichead process for NQTs.

Essential Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants are required to provide evidence of a recognised qualification in Religious Education.
• The application must also be accompanied by the contact details of a minimum of 3 professional referees (mobile phone number required).
• A standard application form must be filled out. A CV will not be accepted.
• No zip files please. Application forms and attached documents should be in ‘pdf’ format

Desirable Requirements:
• Candidates must show a willingness to work well as part of a team, be adaptable, and exhibit a robust work ethic
• Experience in music - choir and music groups
• Experience in after-school activities.
• Involvement in extra-curricular activities such as STEM, the arts, coaching team sport.
• Experience in team teaching desirable, particularly with regard to initiatives such as SGLI,
Accelerated Reader, guided reading, Mata sa Rang,
• Experience and knowledge of ICT in the classroom to enhance the learning experiences of
pupils through meaningful, evidence based methodologies.
• Experience of working with children with complex needs in a mainstream setting

The appointment will be subject to but not limited to satisfactory references, evidence of qualifications, Teaching Council confirmation of registration, compliance with current Garda Vetting and OHS requirements.
