Scoil Mhuire is a vertical, co-ed Catholic primary school in a developing area of Lucan in West Dublin.
There is a staff of close to 50, including teachers, SNA's and ancillary staff, all of whom work together towards the education of nearly 500 children. These children come from many different backgrounds and some have additional needs. We are always looking at new and innovative ways to include our children with additional needs. This is exemplified in our two special classes for children with autism.
We also put a big emphasis on music, drama and sport, using these areas to let children express themselves and as a way to include everyone.
