St Augustine's is a special school catering 160 amazing students, aged 8-18, with mild general learning disabilities. Some students have an additional diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, ADD and hearing or visual impairment. Experience of working in this type of school is desirable. Training and upskilling opportunities are provided to all staff. Our school offers a variety of programmes such as QQI, Junior Cycle Level 2/3, JCSP and we have a Vocational Skills programme which offers unique work experience opportunities in horticulture, screen printing, culinary and office and retail skills for our senior pupils. With the support of our pupils, families and staff we have recently developed a new sensory room, new kitchen space and new playground. Our school also offers the Droichead process to NQT's.

A Dilploma in Religious Studies or equivalent is required.
