Mahoonagh NS invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for the positions of fulltime Special Needs Assistant.
• We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school.
• We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on his/her own initiative.
• Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school.
• Experience of and/or, training in working with autistic children, O.T, Emotional and behavioural difficulties EBD and medical needs, is desirable.
• Experience of appropriate interventions in relation to children with Autism would be advantageous

Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening. The successful candidate will be required to abide by the current public service pay agreement.
