Information on the Post:
The bus escort will be required to accompany and support pupils from our Sonas ASD Class on a school transport service that serves Abbeyleix and Portlaoise on a daily basis (Monday to Friday)
The post is currently 17.5 hours per week.
The bus escort should be available on Monday to Friday inclusive from approximately 7:40am to 9:10am in the mornings and between 1:25pm to 3:25pm in the afternoons.
Good communication skills are essential and experience of caring for and working with children with additional needs is desirable.
Please include details of any relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD) or training such as First Aid or Manual Handling training that you have completed to date.
