This interview process will be used to fill the following standard position.
One 0.5 SNA contract.
How the 0.5 is timetabled is at the discretion of the board of management. Agreement with all relevant legislation, circulars and Scoil Bhailenóra' s Role of the SNA policy is required.
Applicants should have the minimum qualifications as per DES Circular 51/2019.
Essential competencies for this position are: Experience of working with children with a social / emotional / educational / communicative or behavioural additional need. Willingness to provide intimate care if required.
Experience and training in Sensory break activities, Lamh, PECS, and positive behaviour support is advantageous.
The successful candidates will be positive, flexible and work well in a team environment. The successful candidates must be willing to engage in relevant CPD, have a strong work ethic and respect the ethos of the school.
