An additional qualification in additional/special needs care needs, evidence of commitment to continuous professional development is advantageous.
The duties of this post are supporting the care needs of pupils with additional need, as laid out by the Department of Education & Skills in Circular 0030/2014
Candidates must be willing to uphold the ethos of the school.
The candidate must display a strong work ethic, flexibility, and the initiative to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be expected to respect the dignity and confidentiality of the pupils and will be expected to avail of further training as required.
