An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St Fiach's N. S. [A82 X448], a Catholic Primary School under the patronage of the Bishop of Meath, Dr Tom Deenihan, is inviting applications for a Special Education Teacher (SET). This is a Temporary Fixed Term position. This position is shared between three schools. St. Fiach’s N.S. is the base school and the other schools involved are Gilson N.S., Oldcastle, Co Meath, [A82 E400] and Carrigabruise N.S., Maghera, Virginia, Co. Cavan [A82 HX80].

It is desirable that Candidates have a recognised Certificate to teach Religious Education, although Candidates without such a qualification can also apply.
