Scoil Naomh Cualán, invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for the position of Special Needs Assistant (It's a fixed term 0.5 post). We are therefore looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on their own initiative.

Candidates must be willing to undertake courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school. Experience and or training in working with children with A.S.D, O.T., emotional and behavioural difficulties and medical care needs is essential and desirable. Experience of the TEACCH and PECS approaches to intervention would be advantageous. Fluency in Russian would be desirable but not essential.
