An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Libermann Spiritan School, Templeogue (LSST) is a special school under the trusteeship of the Spiritan Education Trust. LSST caters for autistic students with complex needs from the ages of 4 - 18.

Essential requirements:
QQI level 5 for Special Needs Assistants
Experience from working in a mainstream school, special class or special school.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and interest in working in an enthusiastic, dynamic and vibrant, team environment
Demonstrated interest in supporting the educational needs of autistic students with complex needs.

Desirable
Experience of supporting the completion of personal pupil plans and care plans
Good understanding of the role of the SNA
Any additional and relevant continuous professional development undertaken or an identified interest in areas of CPD you would like to undertake in the future

We are currently hiring for 1 fixed term position and will set up a panel for substitution work from suitable and interested applicants that will last for the school year.

Completion of Garda vetting and TUSLA child protection training
