St. Baithin's N.S. is a Catholic, co-educational primary school under the patronage of the Bishop of Raphoe.
The school is located in the village of St. Johnston.
It comprises of 5 mainstream teachers, 2 Special class teachers, 3 Full time SET, 1 shared SET, 8 SNA's and 1 administrative principal.
The eligibility criteria, essential roles and responsibilities of the post of Principal Teacher are determined by the four domains of Leadership and Management as set out in Chapter 4 of Circular 0044/2019:
1.Leading Teaching and Learning
2.Managing and Organisation
3.Leading School Development
4.Developing Leadership Capacity
Candidates should have current and continuing Teaching Council registration and have a minimum of five years teaching experience.The appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
Applicants must have a recognised Certificate to teach Religious Education and must submit a copy of their certificate with their application.
