An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a
specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA
posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
We are multi-denominational, community focused, quality based and strive for excellence in
education. We re a caring school who put great emphasis on the wellbeing of our whole school
community. Nenagh CNS is Tipperary's first and only Community National School under the
patronage of Tipperary Education and Training Board.
Post 1 is 0.83 of a post, and may be based in our early intervention ASD class, Sonas.
Post 2 is 0.5 post, 3 hours 15 minutes per day and may be based in mainstream or E.I class
Post 2 is a temporary SNA allocation and will be reviewed in Term 1 of the current school year.
