An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Experience working with young people with complex special needs, ASD, physical, sensory and other complex difficulties in a special school, class or ASD classroom setting is essential.

Experience planning for teaching, supporting behavioural needs and working with a team of SNA staff is required.
