Applications are invited for the position of Special Needs Assistant (SNA) in East Glendalough School in Co. Wicklow. This is a part-time (12 hour/week) permanent vacancy commencing on 28 August 2023. The position can only be filled in accordance with DES regulations and pending approval of the Department of Education and the Board of Management of East Glendalough School.

The minimum required standard of education for appointment to an SNA post is: A QQI level 3 major qualification on the national framework of qualifications or a minimum of three grade Ds in the Junior Certificate or equivalent.

Relevant experience of post primary school students with ASD is desirable
