An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This advertisement is for two SNA positions in the school
Post 1: Standard SNA position (full time hours beginning 30/8/23)
Post 2: Substitute SNA position (Maternity Leave- full time hours beginning 25/9/23)

Appointments will be subject to satisfactory references, current vetting requirements and occupational health screening. If you have a supplementary panel Form (PF1) please enclose with your application. All applications must be received by 12pm on the closing date.

Applications are invited for the two SNA positions as stated above. Experience of and/or training in the following would be advantageous for these posts;
-Working with and supporting children who have additional needs within a mainstream class setting
-Supporting students with sensory needs, communication needs, emotional and behavioural needs and intimate care needs
-Supporting students with Autism, Down Syndrome and medical care needs

Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be responsive and sensitive to additional needs within the school, work on their own initiative, show flexibility, patience, kindness and care in their day to day duties and contribute positively to the work of our existing team.
