Centre Manager

Position: General Manager
The Youth Training and Development Centre (YTDC) Newbridge invites applications for the position of General Manager. YTDC provides training and education to early school leavers ages 16-21 years who have not completed their leaving certificate.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for the effective management of budgets, development and delivery of service, staff development, and maintaining positive employee relations.
Applicants must have:
• A recognised degree, managerial experience (preferably in a similar educational field), strategic, and planning knowledge.
• An understanding of the key issues in FET and the role of agencies relating to young early school leavers
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to motivate and work effectively with Board, staff, KWETB, learners and other stakeholders

Desirable
• Excellent IT skills.
• An understanding of QQI and Quality Assurance accreditation requirements.
• Staff management experience of at least three to five years

The successful candidate will be appointed subject to receiving the appropriate Garda clearance and satisfactory references. The salary range associated with the post is €38,333 to €64,756. YTDC offers excellent package including contributory pension and opportunities for training and development for the successful candidate.
