An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Positions available: 10 Bus Escorts roles (Experience not essential but must work well with children)
Fixed-Term Contract, Term Time only.
Approx 22.5 – 25 hours per week (depending on route)
School: Saint Augustine’s Special School.
We cater for children with mild to moderate learning difficulties.
Bus Route Locations: Blackrock, Sandyford, Crumlin, Terenure, Ballybrack, Dundrum, Tallaght, Bray, Ballybrack, Greystones, Kilcoole, Blanchardstown, Lucan.
It may be possible for bus to collect you en-route to collect student, or meet you somewhere convenient if live near area. This can be discussed at interview stage.
Experience Required: Experience of working with children with Special Needs preferable, but not essential. Must be kind, caring, patient and must work well with children.
Responsibilities: Accompany/supervise students with special needs on their journey to and from school.
Hours of work: Morning: Approx. 7.30am – 9.30am
Afternoons: Approx. 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Total hours per day: Approx 4.5
Salary: €13.40 per hour (Paid monthly)
Holiday hours paid at rate of 8% of hours worked.
Holiday pay payable at Christmas, Easter and at beginning of Summer holidays.
