An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We welcome applications from SNAs who are excited to work with children with additional needs in our mainstream classes.
Our school values all team members equally and Special Needs Assistants are an integral part of the school community. In our school, a key role of the SNA is to promote independence in the children with whom they are working.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel are required to state this in their letter of application and attach the relevant PF1 Form.
