Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
These (1.83) posts will be based in ASD Special Class settings &/or Mainstream Class settings.
All applicants must be willing to avail of further training. Candidates are required to have qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills. An additional qualification in special education, including autism or a related area is advantageous.
Applications are only accepted on Standard Application Form for SNA Posts and Letter of Application. Applicants deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel, please state this in your letter of application and attach the relevant PF1 form. Applications by post only to: Newtown National School, Crettyard, Co Laois R93 DY27 - marked SNA Application. Only applicants being called to interview will receive correspondence.
The successful candidate will be subject to current vetting requirements. Interviews will take place on Friday 23rd June.
