Scoil Mhuire is a Catholic primary school under the patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin.
The school is a co-educational, vertical mainstream school with two ASD classes.
The roles and responsibilities for this post relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management, as specified in DES Circular 0044/2019.
The successful candidate must be fully registered with the Teaching Council, have at least five years teaching experience, be fully Garda vetted and have a recognised qualification in the teaching of Religious Education.
The following skills, knowledge, and experience are desirable:
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills, including policy development and implementation.
• Commitment to the Catholic ethos.
• Knowledge of Special Educational Needs and a commitment to inclusion.
• Ability to promote a culture of care, respect, and learning.
• Ability to work in partnership with the other two schools located on the shared campus.
• Ability to encourage and foster the involvement of parents and the wider community in the education of the children in the school.
