Knocknagoshel NS currently has 2 classroom teachers, 1.5 SET’s and 2 SNA’s. It will have 3 classroom teachers in September 2023.
Applicants must have a certificate to teach religion, along with a clear understanding of and commitment to the Catholic ethos of a catholic Primary School.

The following knowledge, skills and experience are desirable:
Knowledge, understanding and capacity to lead and successfully manage the administrative and teaching duties of a Principal
Excellent people management, inter-personal skills, teamwork and communication skills
Proven leadership skills
Experience in development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school based initiatives
An in-dept knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and a broad range of teaching experience
Knowledge and capacity to successfully lead and administer a school
Experience in prioritising planning and organising workload
A commitment to and evidence of continuing and relevant professional development
Ability to foster links with parents and within the wider community
Roles and responsibilities for this post relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management as specified in DES Circular 0044/2019
A minimum of 3 candidates will be required for the process of selection to proceed.
