An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Talbot SNS is the base school for the Clondalkin Teacher Supply Panel. The purpose for the Supply Panel is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of schools for teachers who are absent on short term substitutable leave.
Supply panel teachers will be appointed to Talbot SNS (the base school ) under a fixed term contract for one year. The Supply teacher will have the same school holidays as the Base school - appointed from 29th August 2023 until 28th June 2024
The supply panel serves 9 schools in South West Clondalkin and Clondalkin Village. It is a great opportunity to gain valuable, short term experience in a variety of class and school settings: mainstream classes, ASD special class, Early start, Junior and Senior schools, a Special School, DEIS and Non DEIS schools and a Gaelscoil.
Travel expense will be payable to the supply panel teacher as per Circular 0009/2015 circular
