Croí na Coille Primary School is growing. And we are looking for a head teacher who is interested in a new and exciting challenge.
The School :
Croí na Coille is an independent co-educational, multi denominational, child-centred primary school embracing the principles of Steiner Waldorf and forest school education.
The objective at Croí na Coille is to help children reach their fullest potential by providing quality teaching and learning experience. The National Primary School curriculum is delivered by combining academic learning with outdoor play and Forest
School activities.
The school is currently funded through school fees, fundraising and donations.
The Job :
We are seeking a full time Head teacher with enthusiasm and energy to help create an educational environment that nurtures the personal development of the whole child. The Head Teacher will have responsibility for mainstream teaching and the day to day management of the school.
Qualifications :
The Board of directors now invites applications from suitably qualified candidates. Previous teaching experience is desirable and the successful candidate would ideally have experience or a keen interest in Steiner Waldorf approaches and teaching methods. Knowledge of outdoor learning strategies would be a great
advantage.
