Good Shepherd NS is a single stream, vibrant, co-ed school with 4 special classes. Our staff work closely together and with parents to ensure each pupil's potential is realised. We are looking for 2 part time SNAs (covering job sharing arrangements 23/24) who are fully committed to working as part of a team to ensure that a broad and inclusive education is provided for all our pupils.
The positions advertised are suited to those who are strong team players.
Candidates should have a minimum Level 6 SNA qualification.
There are 2 posts advertised.
These are:
• 1 x 0.83 post for 23/24 - covering hours for staff availing of a job share
(This position is part of the team in our Early Intervention Class for Children on the Autistic Spectrum.
0.83 of a SNA post is 26.56 hours per week. This is the equivalent to 5.3 hours a day (5 hours, 20 minutes). The hours of work for .83 of an SNA are from 8:30am – 1:50 pm, which includes 15 minute tea break (10.15 – 10.30am) and 25 minute lunch break (12noon – 12.25pm)). The SNA is also required to work an additional 60 Croke Park hours over the year.
• 1 x 0.5 post for 23/24 - covering hours for staff availing of a job share
The position is part of the team who work in our classes for children with Developmental Language Disorder. Hours of work are 10-1:12 daily. The SNA is required to work an additional 36 Croke Park hours over the year.
