The NCH Special School is a one-teacher hospital school based in Tallaght University Hospital.
The school caters for both Primary and Second Level pupils who are in-patients in the hospital.
This is a fixed-term post until early 2025. Date to be confirmed.
Our aim is to create a safe, fun, engaging environment in which the pupils can learn. The school often serves as a distraction from their hospital stay.
• We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and can work on his/her own initiative.
• We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the pupils and the school.
• Experience working with both Primary and Second Level pupils is desirable.
• Experience working in a hospital setting is a plus but not essential.
Please outline in your application any experience or training you have working with pupils with additional needs.
