Applications are invited for a Special Needs Assistant post for 16 hours per week based initially in a special class at Bohermore N.S., Ballysimon, Co. Limerick. The SNA post is for 0.5 hours. An SNA in our school works under the direction of the class teacher and principal.

We invite applications for the position of a Special Needs Assistant (0.5 hours) standard post. The role of the SNA is as set out in Section 5 of DES Circular 30/2014.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have a recognised SNA qualification.
- Have experience of or a special interest in working with children with complex needs.
- Have experience of or a special interest in working with Autistic children.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development.
- Willingness to work as a team.
