The bus escort will accompany and support pupils with Autism on a mini bus from their home to and from school. The bus escort must be available in the mornings and afternoons, five days per week for the school year. The bus escort is responsible for the safety of the children on board the bus/taxi and will be required to provide pupil care needs including, but not limited to, assisting the children getting on and off the bus/taxi, securing appropriate seat belts, etc. No official qualifications are needed, however, good communication skills and experience of caring for/working with children with additional needs is desirable.

The post is 20 hours per week. The bus escort should be available daily, in the mornings from 7am – 9am & in the afternoons from 1:15pm – 3:15pm. The bus escort will meet the bus driver each morning and afternoon at St. Paul’s Primary School C15 V067.
