St. Michael's House Grosvenor School Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18 caters for pupils with special educational needs such as Down Syndrome or Autism. These are 1 year part-time posts: 4 Hours per day, 5 days a week (two hours in the morning 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and two hours in the afternoon: 2:00p.m. to 4:00 p.m.(approximately) Monday to Friday during term time.)

The escort makes arrangements to meet the bus operator at the pick up point of the first student (at approximately 7:30 a.m. and the escort is dropped back to that point by 9:30 a.m.). Similarly in the afternoon the escort would be picked up by the driver at the same point (at approximately 2:00 p.m and brought in to the school in Leopardstown in order to bring the same group of approximately six children home from school. Most of the bus runs in the afternoon finish back at the starting point by 4:00 p.m.

We will need an escort in each of the following areas of South and West Dublin (and the surrounding areas): Areas may include, but are not limited to: Crumlin; Dundrum; Lucan, Rathfarnham; Rathmines; Sandyford and Tallaght. We are also seeking to form a panel of escorts who would provide occasional substitute cover on these bus runs.

THE REVISED HOURLY RATE EFFECTIVE FROM 1ST SEPTEMBER 2019 IS €13.07. HOLIDAY PAY WILL CONTINUE TO BE PAID AT 8%. THE REVISED HOURLY RATE, INCLUSIVE OF HOLIDAY PAY, WILL BE €14.12 (€13.07 +8%) WITH EFFECT FROM 1ST SEPTEMBER 2019.
