ABACAS Kilnamanagh is a special school for children with Autism and Complex Needs. The successful applicant will work closely alongside a classroom teacher, a team of highly experienced SNAs, an onsite Behaviour Practitioner as well as external visiting professionals. Significant experience working with pupils with Autism and communication difficulties in an educational setting is essential. Candidates must demonstrate practical experience with the management of challenging behaviour and the promotion of positive behaviour strategies.
Experience in TEACCH, knowledge of Lámh, PECS and positive behaviour strategies is beneficial.
A FETAC level 3 major qualification on the national framework of qualifications or a minimum of three grade D's in the Junior Cert is essential.

The successful candidate will be subject to Garda vetting by our Patron, Autism Ireland.

The successful candidate will be expected to attend Croke park hours commencing 26th Aug 2022.
