St. Michael's House Grosvenor School Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18 caters for pupils with moderate, severe/profound General Learning Disability and Autism with complex needs. These are 1 year part-time posts: two hours in the morning 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and two hours in the afternoon: 2:00p.m. to 4:00 p.m.(approximately) Monday to Friday during term time.
The role of the bus escort involves catering for the safety and care needs of the students as they travel.
The escort makes arrangements to meet the bus operator at the pick up point of the first student and the escort is dropped back to that point in the morning and similarly in the afternoon. We will need an escort in each of the following areas of South and West Dublin (and the surrounding areas): Areas may include, but are not limited to: Crumlin; Dundrum; Dun Laoghaire; Lucan, Rathfarnham; Rathmines; Ringsend; Sandyford;and Tallaght. We are also seeking to form a panel of escorts who would provide occasional substitute cover on these bus runs.
THE REVISED HOURLY RATE EFFECTIVE FROM 1ST SEPTEMBER 2019 IS €13.07. HOLIDAY PAY WILL CONTINUE TO BE PAID AT 8%. THE REVISED HOURLY RATE, INCLUSIVE OF HOLIDAY PAY, WILL BE €14.12 (€13.07 +8%) WITH EFFECT FROM 1ST SEPTEMBER 2019.
