This post arises from a full time job-share position for the school year 2022/2023 (split week Thurs - Wednesday basis).
The contract could be terminated in the event of the SNA who is job-sharing, resigning, retiring, not returning to work for any reason or being made redundant during the term of the job sharing arrangement.
Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work both on their own initiative and in a team capacity. All members of the school staff are expected to respect the Catholic ethos of the school and be willing to engage in relevant CPD.
Previous experience of working with children with physical, medical, ASD and/ or complex needs is desirable.
The initial duties of the post may change according to the care needs of the pupils.
Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting, medical fitness and reference checking.
