There are two 0.83 (infant hours) positions.
It is essential to have relevant experience working with non-verbal young children in a primary school setting, dealing with challenging behaviours, toileting needs, general hygiene issues and assisting with orientation and mobility needs.
Candidates must be familiar with Lámh, PECS, care and preparation of audiological and assistive technology, use of braille materials and tactical graphics.
Experience, skills and qualification in the area of intellectual disability and Autism are necessary. Candidates must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training. Applicants on SNA panel should submit P.F.1 form with application.
Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting, medical fitness and reference checking.
A Fixed Term position is also advertised. One application will suffice for all positions. Specify preference in letter of application.
